Who is Nora as in "bloody Nora" ?

Nora Barnacle? (James Joyce's wife)? Not sure. In the film The Full Monty one of the men says 'Chuffing Nora!' when he sees the size of another man's . So is it an expression of astonishment? But why 'Nora'?
