Help.. Urgent.. Hiking Shoes/Boots?

i have been wearing merrel for years and have never been disappointed. i live in the british columbia rockies and i am out hiking, hunting, and fishing at least every weekend and merrel is all i wear. i have a pair that are 6 years old that are still waterproof that have been to the tallest peek in the area 4 times, been moose hunting in northern british columbia, goat hunting in the Rockies, and worn around town on a daily basis.
