Honestly I would tell them If they want to eat, then they have to clean. If they don't like that then your partner can take them somewhere else to spend time with them. I grew up with four older brothers the oldest one is 15 years older then me. I was the only girl, and my mom was a single mom. You have to be firm, and tell them like it is or they will walk all over you.
