Telling my daughter her daddy adopted her?

you just have to tell her. my mom waited until i was 16 to tell me that my dad isn't biologically my father. it was so much harder on me than it was on my sister (who has known she was adopted almost her whole life). so just explain to your daughter that your husband loved her enough to adopt her and he has always been her dad and always will be.
