Mind is free but the memories have chains?

There is a blue gr band that sings a song and the chorus lyrics say something like the mind is free but the memories have chains. I can't remember the name of the band or the names of any of their other songs. I'm pretty sure the banjo player used to play guitar for a metal band. Does anyone know the name of this band?
