Anyone know the title and artist of a song the video bares a resemblance to a gangster film?

the film has a man taking a girl to a club but they go in through the back door and through the kitchen she asks what job he does and he replies constuction this applies in the music video also the song is by a black artist. later in the film he leaves his wife cos she finds out he is having an affair but he is visted by representives of 'the family' claiming it doesnt look good and he goes back to his wife again this is also in the music video.
